Design your dream home task perfect for making lesson’s about Area ( Geometry and Measures ) more interesting for year 7 / year 8 's (11-14).

The task includes a grid for the ground floor and a grid for the 1st floor. Give your kids complete creative control by designing the floor plan to their dream home using area by counting squares. Encourage using differing shapes to test their understanding of area and marking each other’s work to ensure they have calculated the area of each room.
