Is this for a mainstream year 7? Children are taught to count the squares inside a shape in year 2/3. By Year 6 they have progressed to working out area by being given 2 sides that have different measurements e.g. cm and m. This is too easy
Extremely helpful as a homework
Perfect for my Yr7 students to hold their hand, I believe scaffolding is the technical term, as a homework to reinforce their skills. <br /> Thank you so much.
Exactly what I was looking for to ease from counting squares to using fomula.
Thank you for this. Very useful having the squares versus centimetres explained and offered on one worksheet.
