Arithmetic Maths Challenge - Year 6 SATs Preparation

Three weeks of maths challenges based on the new year 6 SATs arithmetic test. There are 3 per week (6 questions on each) for children to work through at the start of maths lesson. Time this according to their ability group and go through to sift through methods/misconceptions. I've had great success with this in previous years - results went from 8% pass rate to 79% just by doing activities like this routinely (class of 24). There are answer boxes like in the SATs for chn to work their answers out in - I've found it very beneficial for the children since they grow in familiarity with the test layout and structure. Feel free to edit/change for your class but it's a start!
