This lesson is for AS/A Level students studying Physics. Included in this resource is a quick practical on terminal velocity that can also be carried out as a demonstration to recap on GCSE terminal velocity. This is then taken further by introducing Stokes’ Law and equation which is self-assessed using an exam-style question. Finally, is a class practical where students investigate terminal velocity by timing how long it takes for a metal ball to drop through a fluid.
Included in this resource are exam questions (also mark scheme) that apply Stokes’ Law mathematically, graphically and conceptually which consolidates the practical.

Included in this presentation are the learning outcome, success criteria and keywords.
