AS Organic Chemistry Synthesis/Reaction Map Revision (Edexcel 2015)

This map includes a visual summary of all the organic reactions mentioned in Topic 6 of the Edexcel AS Chemistry specification.

It includes type of reaction and the reagents and conditions required. It also shows students which reactions they need to remember the mechanisms for and those reactions they have completed as part of their core practical work.

Blank summary map (without reagents, conditions or reaction names)

I have always "built" this map as part of my teaching of organic chemistry to help pupils consolidate all the reactions they come across and review the chemistry of functional groups studied earlier. Once complete it then becomes a valuable revision resource.

Ready to print on A4 but I recommend scaling up to A3 for pupils to annotate.
