Embedded are two Paper 3 questions for each presentation. The first serves to introduce the concept and structure of each individual question. The second question serves to reinforce the structure and includes example candidate responses to aid discussion of the correct approach.

Each part of the syllabus is referenced and then explained. Next an associated multiple choice question is chosen to review that section with a walked through solution. Also embedded are associated structured questions (SQ) or multiple choice questions (MCQ) each of 40 minutes duration. These are introduced at the end of the presentation and include the mark schemes inside for review purposes. At the end of each presentation is a hyperlinked Kahoot of ten multiple choice questions to be run as a plenary taken from the MCQ documents. Each presentation finishes with a related multiple choice question as an exit ticket activity.

This package contains ALL the resources necessary to teach the CAIE (9702) Physics 2022 syllabus topic: Advanced Practical Skills. First hand out the specification sheets which includes the topic syllabus, relevant equations and any other relevant information such as tables, diagrams or graphs. Next are Keynote (Mac only) presentations and exported PowerPoint presentations for each sub topic. The exported PowerPoints have not been checked for formatting errors. Some images may need slight rearranging. Keynote files are as intended and ready to use. To be used alongside the presentations are past paper questions chosen to best introduce the content. There are other examples included for reinforcing the structure during the course numbered according to the content syllabus code. Also included is an associated multiple choice question worksheet of 40 minutes duration. Lastly included are two practicals on: APS-1.1 Using measuring instruments, APS-2.3 Experimentally calculating π.
