Australian Weather Forecast Report Lesson (Year 2/Key Stage 2)

Suitable for year 2 and key stage 2. Made for Year 2's Topic theme looking at Australia. Children use fact sheets (print double sided) to help write and then later perform a weather forecast report. There is a writing frame for lower ability children (also used to do a shared write on whiteboard for whole class input) as well as differentiated maps to add weather symbols and temperature figures. Children at the starter compare the UK climate briefly with the Australian which is also the extension question.
