Awesome sheet - house and home

Students pair match English and French sentences then have to decide why each sentence is an awesome sentence. Does it contain connectives, opinions, reasons or negatives? What tense is it in? what other features of good writing are included. They can go on to adapt the sentences to their own work or use it as a reference (eg your writing has no conditional - can you find some from the sheet?)
