The following bar graphs require students to conduct surveys to collect and tabulate data. Students then graph the data on a grid, record findings and write down two questions to ask a friend. A set of questions facilitate the interpreting of collected data.

Graphing templates are provided with the scale drawn and intervals marked. For each graphing activity, there are also blank grids for students to mark the intervals. A variety of questions to interpret data collected target differentiation.

Prior to having students attempt each survey, project the completed sample for each graphing activity on the interactive whiteboard so students have an overall idea of the requirements of the activity.

Resource is good but obviously written initially for American pupils and then edited for a U.K. audience with some mistakes e.g Money sheet has US$! Apart from small things like that it is a good resource that will be very useful for remote learning tasks via Zoom!
