Basketball Upper KS2 Scheme of Work

6 comprehensive basketball lessons for upper key stage 2 working through a wide range of skills, techniques, and personal competencies.

Each lesson is underpinned with clear learning objectives and outcomes along with teaching points for each section of the lesson. Lessons cover a range of themes including: locating space, dribbling, passing, shooting, attacking and defending principles.

Lessons are sectioned into warm up and development/composition, each displaying appropriate progressions and adaptations. A final evaluating and improving column with leading questions and rules will provide opportunity to reflect, set targets, and communicate with peers.
