An overview of the Pre-Beginner Level – Lesson 3 - The Colour Red

A complete fun, colourful and interactive PowerPoint lesson which follows the PPP lesson method (Presentation, Practice, Production) includes;

• Proper greetings at the beginning and end of the lesson.
• How are you today? – Practice words about feelings (sad, happy, tired etc.).
• How is the weather today? – Introduce words about weather (sunny, cloudy, rainy, snowy)
• Graphical Lexis introduction of five red things (apple, tomato, t-shirt, scarf, fire truck).
• Easy reading picture sentences (Example, “The ball is red; The car is red” etc.).
• Learn to count from the red things from 10 – 20.
• Show and Tell (The student gets to show the teacher their red things)
