These no prep beginning blends word searches are a fun phonics activity to practice reading and recognizing words with L Blends, R Blends and S Blends. These consonant blends worksheets include 20 word searches, one for each individual consonant blend. Great for Kindergarten & 1st Grade phonics!

All word searches are provided in both color and black & white printing options, and answer keys are included.

The word searches included have been designed for Kindergarten & 1st grade students. All words read forwards, and each word is either horizontal or vertical in the grid. There are no words that are diagonal or that read backwards.

Each word search is for an individual beginning blend, with blends included as follows: BL, CL, FL, GL, PL, SL, BR, CR, DR, FR, GR, PR, TR, SC, SK, SM, SN, SP, ST, SW.

Answer keys are included for each page. Answer keys are color coded for ease of finding words in the grid. The tick box next to each word is given an individual color and the word is highlighted in the grid in the same color.
