In honour of this great man and tragic loss, I am building a few KS3 English lessons. I plan to soon add some more, but here are the Christmas themed ones.
They include-
3 full lessons with Powerpoints, resources and a selection of engaging videos
Lesson 1 = Biographies- remembering Pogues singer Shane MacGowan and Zephaniah
Lesson 2 is on the poem Christmas Wise by Zephaniah and leads up to a creative writing task
Lesson 3 is on Talking Turkeys and includes a non-fiction starter task and builds up to writing their own poem.
