Overview

This teaching resource is a two-week independent unit designed for Year 5/6 students, centered around the classic epic book “Beowulf.” The focus of the unit is to develop students’ persuasive writing skills through a creative and engaging project: advertising to the locals to come to the Mead Hall for delicious food. The unit incorporates the use of smart boards and learning ladders to structure lessons and support student learning.
