Biography - Space exploration themed unit

A 3-week English unit of work for teaching about biography writing. It loosely follows the Talk4Writing approach, initially looking at a model text (a biography of Katherine Johnson). It then gets children to do their own research on people of significance for space understanding or exploration. They create and deliver presentations, before finally writing biographies. The grammar foci is on using parenthesis and also on linking introductions and conclusions with a rhetorical question ‘hook’
