I have developed a 6 week project that takes students from research through simple idea generation to orthographic projection. Then finally to manufacture. All activities are fully supported with .gifs that animate and clearly show the activities/skills required to complete the project successfully. The resource comes with a fully supported workbook for students to use during the project.

I found Craig's lessons to be a valuable resource. They are visually appealing and include plenty of references and visual cues, which can be very helpful for students and teachers with low confidence. It's evident that a lot of time and effort went into creating these lessons, and Craig's extensive experience shines through. His teaching style seems to be very practical and takes into account the realities of students in a workshop setting. I appreciate that the materials are not outdated, unlike much of the DT material available on TES. The addition of a progress bar at the bottom of each slide is a nice touch and provides evidence to help with motivation and fostering a culture of learning in the classroom. The files are available in various formats, including Publisher, which may be an issue depending on the tools provided by your school. I would recommend that any potential buyers attach their email directly to their review to request an alternative file format, and Craig will email it to you. From my experience, he responded within 48 hours, which I thought was pretty good. Relative to the majority of Design and Technology resources on TES - i think these are high quality resources.
