A fun (end of term?) group work activity. Students to split into groups of 2-4 to create their own Algebra (or other maths topic) Board Game. Can be run over 2 or 3 one hour lessons with a chance to play and judge the best game by peer review. (Includes Hall of Fame of some games created by other classes and some links to inspirational YouTube videos.)

Thanks for sharing. I am currently using games 50% of the time when teaching Algebra. I have been the game maker, but also want to get students to create their own games. This sets the standard for them. (New Zealand Year 9 & 10).
