BTEC Dance - NEW 2022 Spec - Prep unit Student Booklet

This booklet is in support of my 38 lesson SoW. The SoW and booklet comprise a preparatory unit of work, to comprehensively prepare students for component 1. The booklet is mentioned in the SoW with activities linking to it throughout.

Upon completion of the booklet, students will have a plethora of knowledge which they can apply to their assessed modules. It is hoped they will have improved upon their technical ability, creative skills and theoretical understanding. Prompts for linked learning to component 1 are evident throughout.

Please note - this is not a component 1 SoW booklet, it is simply a preparatory unit which I have designed to prepare students for their assessed components. This is not verified by an examination board, it is simply my interpretation and knowledge as a professional practitioner of dance. I have also created a SoW and unit on a page document, which directly complements this student work booklet.
