This booklet is designed to support pupils for their external assessment with a focus on unit 1. The booklet is designed to assist pupils with their understanding of the range of Assessment Outcomes AO1-AO5.
The support booklet specifically looks at the rage of command verbs being used for the different Assessment Outcomes and the range of marks potentially being awarded for questions for each AO.
Command verbs and their definitions are given and pupils are then encouraged to then write their own exam style question for each AO with the correct marks being awarded. This works in conjunction with the Unit specification to cross reference with the Essential Content which is available free from the Edexcel Website.
Some exemplar questions are already in the booklet and can be used as templates.
