BTEC TECH Component 3 2020 LAUNCH PPT and STUDENT BOOKLET DANCE/DRAMA ADAPTABLE

This resource features an exam PPT launch that is used with y10/11 drama and dance students, it has a breakdown of the criteria, top tips for the exam, an introduction to the stimulus for 2020 as well as a few practical ideas for pieces that we feel would meet the criteria fully, the ppt justifies how the ideas would hit each element of the brief.
The ppt also comes with a breakdown of the combination of grades to achieve overall scores so students can see how their result for comp 3 could effect their overall grade.

In addition to the PPT there is a student booklet for COMPONENT 3, this features the following pages:

1. Breakdown of criteria and theme brief.
2. Local Community mindmap of areas to consider.
3. Mind map page
4. Pitch page for students to formulate an idea for a piece that they can share with their group.
5. Final group idea page with space to justify how the idea meets each section of the brief.
6. A scene/section planning table to note down the structure of their piece scene by scene.
7. Rehearsal logs x8 to log what they are working on, targets and actions for the next rehearsals.
8. Techniques grid to allow them to tick off and make notes when devising for dance- this could be easily adapted to fit dramatic techniques instead
