Booklet that can be used to work from for the BTEC applied science unit 3 investigation into Calorimetry. Booklet in total took about 5 sessions to complete (tasks cover planning, carrying out investigation, processing data and write up!). Answer booklet provided with suggested student responses :)
Lots of guidance for students on use of equations. You will have to help them create a results table (don’t forget units!). I put the headings for my results table as:
- Fuel
- Start Mass (g)
- Final Mass (g)
- Change in Mass (g)
- Molar Mass (mol)
- Heat of Combustion (kJ/mol)

I agree with the review below. The worksheet is fine, it scaffolds the investigation students are meant to do, so planning, method, results,... it provides some structure for students which is good. <br /> In my opinion it would be better if it had a number of exam style questions as well as suggested answers similar to what you would expect in a mark scheme. I'd say probably not worth the money
A good worksheet, but not worth the amount of money charged. Would get 4 stars i it were 50 percent cheaper..imo
