I qualified in 2011, and have since taught Geography, History, and now Religious Studies. I'm absolutely passionate about RE/RS, and I enjoy devoting my own time creating resources for use in lessons or for displays. Many of my resources are absolutely free, but some I've put a price on. The latter are resources that I've created more recently and have taken more time to produce, and are a way to earn extra income towards saving for a house deposit.
This is a lesson plan that I created recently for a year 8 class on Buddhist monks.
The idea of the lesson was to get pupils to be able to understand WHY Buddhists would choose to become monks - responding to the material of 'itinerary' and 'rules'
