'Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo' is a grammatically correct sentence in the English language. How? Can your students crack it?

A fun activity and a useful way of having students realise that in knowing a language they have an implicit - even innate - understanding of complicated linguistic constructs. Some pupils will 'get it' quickly; have them explain it those who don't until everyone does!
