A set of three lessons following ‘C’est pour un renseignement/Il fera beau demain’ Studio GCSE Higher Module 4.3/4. Students are reminded of the use of vouloir with the infinitive and the simple future troughout the lessons and are also introduced to some alternatives to using vouloir and ‘quel’. Students practice their skills through a range of activities from the book enhanced with support and challenge activities as well as additional slides to explain the grammar, additional exercises to practice using the simple future and interrogative pronoun quel etc, differentiated translations in to English, stepped translations in to French and role play task. A match up and points reveal game are also used to consolidate student knowledge. The lessons conclude with a photo task with student friendly criteria and an extended writing task with success criteria to facilitate self/peer assessment.
