Cartooning: Drawing the face and figure

This is a project designed to introduce face and figure drawing to KS3 students in a way which makes it more manageable and engaging. It provides students with some useful rules and background knowledge for drawing the face and figure which they could just use to create their own caricatures or use as the basis to go on and practice figure drawing from observation.
The project include reference to illustrators from Marvel, DC Comics, Jamie Hewlett and Kazou Koike
as well as an analysis of Roy Lichtenstein's visual language.
