This Catch Me If You Can Movie Guide (2002) challenge students to explore themes of deception, criminal justice, redemption, and personal transformation. Discuss the complexity of Frank Jr.'s character, his father’s influence, and the dynamic between Frank and Carl. Analyze how both main characters symbolize the idea that sometimes living a lie is easier than being honest with yourself. Debate whether or not Frank Jr.'s character is moral, if Carl’s redemption plan for Frank Jr. was successful, and finally what he would’ve needed to learn in order to pull off identity theft in the present day.
