This document is a template for students studying Variation in Meiosis, I used this whist studying BTEC Applied Science at A-Level.
This document would be a good template or example for your students if they are also on a coursework based specification, or could be a great revision aid to those on exam based courses, as it is well set out perfect for colour co-ordinated revision, and includes visual aids which may prompt learning.

The document discusses random fertilization in a clear and concise way, it also touches on variation in identical twins. Independent assortment is also discussed, with an example to show this at pro/meta phase.
Human genetic makeup is discussed and the document explains how the amount of variation possible is enormous.
Chiasmata is briefly explained along with an illustration to help.
