Scheme of Work. These lessons are designed to specifically prepare students to start studying Edexcel History (9-1). This is the 14th lesson looking at Chapter 1. This lesson focuses on the suffragettes and how they fought to get the right to vote in particular Emily Davison. Students will watch the clip of the Epsom Derby and then look at various sources of information and decide whether what happened was suicide or a tragedy.
The lesson involves analysing sources and an extended writing task which will then involve a peer marking activity.
