You get no prep and low prep options that require simply printing or printing and cutting.

This character traits resource allows you to have multiple options so your students can go to their reading notebooks at any time for a refresher on how to analyze the things a character says, thinks, feels, and does so they can accurately describe them. You can print student sized anchor charts that take no time to glue in student notebooks. Or, you can opt for the interactive notebook options. Option 1 has all components typed for your students. They just need to glue the pieces into their notebooks. Option 2 allows your students to write the information in their notebook. This is great if you want to change the wording a bit to best fit the needs of your classroom.

Option one comes with all the components of the anchor chart typed. So, you just have to print, and students cut out the components and add them to their interactive notebooks. This option saves you valuable time and ensures consistent and organized student work.

Option two allows students to write the information into their interactive notebooks and glue in the images. This option allows you a little more freedom and more active learning from your students since you can use student wording or wording that is more consistent with your reading series. This option really encourages critical thinking, note-taking skills, and student engagement.
