I have developed a unit of work focusing on Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. There are individual PowerPoints and worksheets for each lesson. The unit covers Comprehension skills, creative writing, advertisement and some basic punctuation work. There are also lessons where children can create and advertise their own chocolate which is always a fab way to end the topic! :-)
Lessons are based around a mixture of reading the book and watching clips from the film.
I used this unit for a low ability Year 7 class but can be used with higher KS2/lower KS3 also.
