This pack contains a total of 28 lesson PowerPoints, model texts for the children to analyse, WAGOLLs for shared writes and writing banks which include ‘Steps to Success’ for each piece of writing and a word bank containing relevant spellings.
Each week roughly follows the same format (with exceptions):
Monday
- Grammar input followed by hunting through the model text to find that week’s Steps to Success
Tuesday - Planning for this week’s writing thinking about grammar
Wednesday, Thursday & Friday - A grammar starter linked to the Steps to Success
- A review on Monday’s model text
- A shared write using the provided WAGOLL
- Independent writing
- Editing and Improving using the CUPS method
