A game/group activity for GCSE revision (high attaining class) or at the start of A Level to get students thinking about chemical equations and practising the different types - full balanced equations, ionic and half equations. Also makes them recall key terms such as combustion, neutralisation, redox, precipitation etc. I use this at the start of the year with new A Level classes and they love it and get very competitive!

You can also set it as homework, and can make it harder or easier by restricting their sources of information.
