A double-sided sheet with short summaries of 26 CLA theories on one side, and language features listed under the linguistic methods on the other side.
My students have found this to be a helpful revision tool. They can research each theory in more depth, tick off the ones they have revised and use the grid to help them write example essay plans.
There are a range of theories from the more well-known to modern, lesser-known theories.
The back of the sheet can also be used as a checklist to ensure practise essays cover a range of the language methods and to revise key terminology.
