This assembly introduces students to the importance of maintaining good mental health and equips them with practical strategies, or ‘tools’, they can use to manage their emotions and cope with challenges. By creating a personal mental health toolbox, students will learn simple techniques, such as deep breathing, positive self-talk, and talking to others, to help them feel more resilient and confident in handling difficult feelings. This assembly promotes self-care, encourages open conversations about emotions, and empowers students to take positive steps to look after their mental wellbeing.
