Chinese New Year Spelling Quiz KS2

A team spelling quiz to use as a fun warm-up or plenary exercise for Lower Key Stage 2. Three words linked with Chinese New Year appear on each slide for teams to choose the correct spelling from.
There are ten sets of words in total and answers are provided at the end.
It is suggested that children work in small mixed ability groups to give each team an equal chance of winning! Each team should select a writer, to write down the answers (A, B or C) for each slide. Children should be encouraged to work as a team and listen to everyone’s answer before agreeing on which one to write down.
