The ULTIMATE 2024 Christmas / End of Year quiz that recaps what has happened around the world in 2024, including specific sports, TV/film and music rounds!
There are 90 questions in total over 8 rounds with five different formats to keep students on their toes! The colourful and engaging PowerPoint is fully editable and comes with a structured student answer sheet too. The answer of the quiz are relayed at the end on the quiz but can be moved to the end of each round if you prefer!
The rounds are:
Round 1: Good news around the world from January - March
Round 2: Sporting moments from 2024 (picture round)
Round 3: Good news around the world from April -June
Round 4: TV & Film from 2024 (find the answer round)
Round 5: Good news around the world from July - September
Round 6: Music from 2024 (Rank the artists based in streams)
Round 7: Good news around the world from October-December
Round 8: Christmas across the curriculum

The lesson has been designed to fit within a 60 minute lesson slot but could easily be adapted to fit any lesson size, including being completed over a series of tutor times.

After using the free PowerPoint in anti bullying week I knew I would be in for a beautiful but functional quiz for Xmas! Saved me a job and looking forward to using with my tutor group for our Christmas quiz.
Perfect Christmas classroom resource! And great for lots of different year groups, too. Gorgeous graphics; relevant and engaging questions which generate heaps of discussion. Would definitely recommend!
Well this was an exceptional quiz! I downloaded this Christmas miracle after running out of time between compiling lesson plans and marking roughly three million essays to conjure up one of my own. I wasn't expecting much but was thoroughly surprised by how well designed the quiz was and my own kids love it. And, I'm ashamed to say, they bested me with their scores 😂 Looking forward to using this in my classroom next week, this is literally going to save me hours and hours of work. I'm excited for all the extra spelling mistakes I'll have time to find, marking essays with one hand and wrapping presents with the other. Such a magical time of year...
