Countdown the days until Christmas with your class by starting your lessons with a Christmas-themed word problem. Aimed at Years 3-5, with a range of mixed ability questions. All questions are word problems that focus on Multiplication, Division, Addition and Subtraction. They are ideal ways to start your lessons and depending on the abilities in your class, they can be completed individually, in a partnership or in a group.
Each question can be viewed on it’s own slide with the date in the top right hand corner. Each question has an answer slide immediately following it. I have included 24 different questions in the lead-up to Christmas Day.
