Christmas Ratio and Proportion. Angle Ratio Dividing. Circles. FREE SAMPLE
Brighten up lessons in the run up to Christmas with this fun little festive challenge.
Students are provided with bird’s eye view of my local town centre. The image depicts a Christmas tree and hanging lights that come together at the tree’s star. The result is a circle with 3 angles.
Students are presented with a diagram (not to scale but roughly representative) and a ratio for the angles in the circle. Students need to use their understanding of circles and the ratio provided in order to work out the angles.
This is a PowerPoint presentation so it can be easily displayed on the board and/or printed out for students.
What you are downloading here is the free sample which contains a title page, worked example, a blank challenge slide and corresponding answer slide.
