I have written five climate change stories with accompanying story resources such as play scripts, songs and cross-curricular activities. I hope they help you to teach your children about this difficult subject in a fun way.
The stories are inspired by articles from the National Geographic magazines, ensuring that the information about climate change on which they are based is accurate and current.
The resources are designed to last for half a term.
The first story is called “Olav Gets an Ice Idea!” This is a story about the melting ice in the Antarctic and the affects this is having on emperor penguins’ ability to breed.
The story also deals with more general themes such as friendship, kindness and helping others.
These resources are ideal for curious young minds that love a good story and want to learn about their changing world.
Hope you enjoy using these resources!
