Students love disaster movies and this task is based on the movie 'Day after Tomorrow'.
I set this task as a homework before I teach this topic, generally over the weekend. They watch the movie and then complete the sheet. It is almost similar to self study. I then teach the topic next lesson and the students make 'green pen' corrections / additions to their work. Can be used with KS3 and even KS4.
