This is lesson 4 of coasts (Theme 1) for the WJEC Geography A 9-1 specification.
The lesson starts with 10 questions for students to answer (I did printed the resources and got students to do it in pairs). Then the lesson explains the differences between consolidated and unconsolidated rock types, followed by an experiment for students to complete. You will need a a few rocks for students to test them for strength etc. I managed to get mine from the science department. The lesson ends with an exciting plenary.
