A sheet with a ‘marking cribsheet’ on. I have them stuck into the front of each English book & created laminated copies so SLT, Ofsted inspectors, parents and children can see what my quick marking codes mean. For example, if I or a TA give verbal feedback on work, we draw a quick speech bubble with our initials on it, or mark work I for independent / GW for guided work. Saves time marking and the children can also use them. I also get the children to self assess their level of confidence with a face. They should fit standard A4 paper for printing and laminating
