This lesson aligns with Oklahoma academic standard PK.D.1.1, in which students will learn to collect and organize information about objects, and PK.D.1.2, in which students will graph this data. There are six graphs so students can record the size, color, use, texture, location, and origin of each item. For example, on the location graph, students will graph objects they find at home, at school, in a store, or outside. The first sheet has been made as an example. Work on each graph together as a class and encourage all students to participate. Decide if you want to record words or visual pictures.
