Common Exception Word Lists – precision teaching, high frequency, spelling, reception Y1,2,3,4,5,6

This resource consists of spelling lists for reception to year 6. The lists are also presented in a precision teaching grid format. To make this resource, I referred to the common exception word lists in the National Curriculum which consist of combined word lists for years 3 and 4 and for years 5 and 6. I separated these by difficulty to create lists for each year group. The words for reception to year 2 are from the National Literacy Strategy. Please leave a review if you find this resource helpful.
