Communication Needs and Preferences

This is a session I find my learners really enjoy. This is all about communication preferences and how we can adapt around individuals with communication barriers needs and preferences. This powerpoint provides some really good examples of how easy it can be for us to adapt and how much it would mean to the individual but it is also includes some amazing videos of much loved TV series such as Gogglebox where learners can see the original video and reactions. There are some hard hitting short emotional videos in this one. It also highlights the strengths and weaknesses of some methods used.
