Here are two knowledge organisers I have put together for my students to allow them to complete self quizing homework that we use as out homework within the school that I teach. Students use the knowledge organisers to create their own set of 10 questions every week and self quiz on the subject knowledge for the units of work they are studying within each of their subject areas.
This has been proven to improve their recall of the knowledge and understanding of the key pieces of information the students need to know.
We also use low stake quizing at the beginning of each lesson to further test students knowledge and understanding of the units/ topics being taught within our lessons and students find the knowledge organisers very useful to understand what they are learning about, what is coming next so they can pre learn where needed.
