Contamination or Irradiation

This lesson was written for my lower ability yr10 GCSE class and was designed to last 60 minutes. You will need access to the internet and a projector but the lesson doesn’t require a specialist lab or equipment. The lesson could be used as a cover lesson if required.
The lesson consists of a variety of forms of information about Radioactive Contamination and Irradiation along with questions and tasks that test comprehension. The lesson looks into causes, uses and precautions related to contamination and irradiation. There is a settler task at the beginning and a plenary at the end.
