Year 6 enjoy making the convection spiral snakes.
Add in the powerpoint slides as laminated pictures to demonstrate the natural beauty of snakes.
The worksheet was doable by year 6 with help and crib sheets, and by years 7 and 8 without crib sheets.
Ideas also based on playing with convection ideas for year 9 - particularly the water filled balloon to get them thinking.
I keep reusing bits and pieces from this set.
All together they also made up a year 6 taster day.
