The presentation has around 20 different items which we want to know the cost of. So for example - electricty per mont. How much does it cost the average family??
This is a great resource to open children/young adults eyes to the cost of living. It is actually extremely funny to hear some of the answers that are suggested. Use the answer sheet and play in groups going through each item first, then swap sheets and then reveal the answers!!
Enjoy - Great fun and strong messages!! Prices are reflective of the north of England in 2010 so feel free to ammend!

This was great, even though most of the students didn't recognise Brucey.....it was a well presented lesson. The teacher can adapt and use it to their own city/county, as opposed to the average 2.4 family, that is supplied, however, it worked well with the middle ability group. Thank you for your greatness

I love this resource. I have adapted it slightly as I teach 16-19 year olds at college, but it will form a great part of my lesson. Thank you so much for sharing. It's going to be a laugh, from start to finish and they are learning...
