This fact finding worksheet is made up of 10 statements about the human and physical geography of Thailand. Each statement has 1-3 blanks that the children have to fill in through either prior knowledge or researching on the internet or in books.
The final section of the worksheet is a word search which contains many of the answers and other words too. Then the worksheet finished up with an open question about whether they would like to visit Thailand and why or why not.
The worksheet serves as a nice introduction to various facts about Thailand and requires the children to think about what search terms to use to find the information they need effectively.
I usually have the children work in pairs for this as they can bounce ideas off each other, discuss and divide the statements up between them. You can even provide a certain statement to each student in the class and then have them share their findings at the end for others to record.
